It’s a great way to establish a positive association between a child and the dental office. If we are able to do a cleaning and exam, great! If the child is not ready for a cleaning and exam, the act of bringing a child into an exam area and sitting them in a dental chair is a good way to help them to feel comfortable in the office environment. It is also helpful in getting them accustomed to having treatments from our dentist, Dr. Bartholomew Paxton. We take our cues from you and your child during these visits.
